An-yong ha-seyo!

Welcome to the Land of the Morning Calm. . .Korea!

Osan Air Base is the most forward deployed installation in the Air Force.  It is home to HQ 7th Air Force, the 51st Fighter Wing, and a variety of tenant units including the 731st Air Mobility Squadron and the 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade.  Given the immediacy of the mission here in Korea, the vast majority of our military members serve at Osan unaccompanied.

The Osan Officers’ Spouses’ Club (OOSC) is a small but vital group on Osan Air Base.  Our purpose is to promote fellowship through the provision of social, cultural, and charitable activities.  Last year, our organization raised and contributed over $40,000 to the community.  Moreover, our organization—working in conjunction with additional dedicated volunteers—baked, bagged, and delivered over 100,000 cookies during the holidays for the unaccompanied warriors in our extended community!

Okay, enough of the formal stuff. . .

OOSC is truly a fun group!  Not only do we contribute to “TEAM OSAN,” but we have a blast, too!  OOSC get-togethers are once a month, and during these times, we share in our unique Korean experience.  Our functions generally are during the day, but we try to accommodate all with some night functions, too.  Besides our monthly event, we offer additional special activities like Mah Jongg, Bunko, Golf, Tennis, Bowling, Scrap-booking, Quilting, and Book Club, to name a few.

So, if you are headin’ our way, become a member. . .share your Korean adventure!
